Yii Framework is a CMS that is written in PHP and allows for Object Orientation Programming (OOP) where “Objects” are constructed that consists of methods that are relevant to this object e.g. A bank account object that is created can contain variables such as initial balance etc.

The PHP element allows the user input into the contact form to be processed via the ”post” method, and sent to a designated inbox of the site admin. This CMS makes the user find this process easy to understand.

The CMS allows a PHP developer to edit the themes themselves to fulfil their requirements. The CMS also allows the user to create Database Access Objects that can allow queries to be built and linked to an external database, this can be linked to the website via MySQL. This CMS allows this link to be implemented in the most user friendly way possible.
