Moveable Type

Moveable Type  is a popular type of Content Management System (CMS) that is functioning as a weblog publishing system.

Unlike most of the CMS listed on this site, Moveable Type is written in Perl, however, it still involves elements of PHP especially with the page templates which can be edited by the user.

This cms contains several features including the ability for admins to host several available web blogs, edit multiple pages, and the option to manage page content, files, users, categories and trackback links.

Recent updates have included the ability to integrate with Social Media such as Facebook and Twitter. This is an optional feature where the user can decide whether to implement it or not, it comes with the latest version of the CMS.
