Mambo CMS
Feel free to tell us about your mambo cms experience or website

Mambo is a type of Content Management System (CMS) that allows for user interaction with an interface control panel to produce and edit webpage content through an easy to use simple interface.
This CMS is often preferred by more advanced users of a CMS as it offers many features that require more skill to understand, such as caching which temporarily stores web pages to reduce the site’s memory use and therefore the pages will load faster and performance is enchanced. The simple interface means that even the most basic of site admins can still use the CMS to perform these complex features on their web sites.
The CMS provides an interface where the site administrator can add many add-on feature to their web content and site, such as RSS news feeds, forums where visitors can post content onto the messageboards as a form to communicate with the site admin, and search engines usually powered by major search engines such as Google or Yahoo!
Mambo and Joomla is interconnected in a way in which the web developers that launched Mambo created Joomla as a side project. This is why both CMS have similar components such as the add-on features and the ability for site visitors to post content on forums or comments boxes.
Like most Content Management Systems, Mambo is written in PHP and gives more skilled users the option to edit the PHP code on the templates so the site completely fulfil their requirements. The CMS is also free to user and install and is open source, again, like most of the CMS mentioned on this site.
