CMS made simple is an easy to use Content Management System that provides users such as site admins or web developers with a simple control panel interface that allows for the editing of web content or themes. It is built using PHP with built in support for MySQL, so databases created externally can be linked to the site using the CMS.

As well as the basic web content editor, the CMS also allows access to stylesheets written in CSS, which can either be created from scratch, or existing default stylesheets to be edited.

The CMS also allows users to install add-ons that can either be provided by the CMS or can be downloaded via external sites.

Popular add-on modules that are popular with web developers include calendars, site visitor counts and RSS feeds. That can implemented onto either every page in a set location, or on a specific page set by the developer. Since these add-ons are popular, they are often provided by the CMS without the need to download from the internet.

CMS made simple is not as popular as other Content Management Systems such as WordPress or Joomla. However it is still very user friendly and easy to understand for even the lower skilled web developers and web site publishers.
